Why is the extension still asking me to sign in?
Open the WebAct account page in the same Chrome profile as the extension, confirm that your email is verified, and reopen the WebAct panel. Browser profiles and private windows have separate sessions. Signing in to ChatGPT alone does not sign in to WebAct.
Where is my verification email?
Check the address you entered and your spam folder. Request a new verification message after the resend cooldown. A new message invalidates the earlier code and link. Verification challenges expire after 10 minutes; reset links expire after 30 minutes.
How do I reset my password?
Use Forgot password on the WebAct account page. Follow the latest reset email and choose a new password. Resetting credentials signs out older sessions. Never share a password or verification code with support.
Why is Google sign-in unavailable?
The hosted account service needs its Google connection configured. If Google sign-in is not offered, use the available email-and-password flow. This is separate from selecting an AI provider.
Why does WebAct not open on this page?
Open an ordinary webpage and click WebAct in Chrome’s toolbar. Browser settings, extension-store pages, and some protected documents restrict injection. Refresh the page after installing or updating the extension, then activate it again.
Can WebAct see every tab?
The extension is activated on the current tab rather than requesting blanket access to all websites. Choose the page or selected region you want to share. Content chosen for AI assistance is processed through the selected connection.
How do I move the orange icon?
Use the drag handle beside the orange icon. Move it to the edge or a comfortable position on the page. The extension remembers its position.
Why did my export miss some rows?
Check for pagination, hidden rows, scrolling containers, or content that has not loaded. Visible-page extraction does not establish that the full underlying dataset was captured. Narrow the task and compare its stated coverage with the page.
Does chatting use my 25 free tasks?
No. Browser Chat does not use the WebAct automation allowance. A task counts once when its first action starts; the steps, recovery, retries, and necessary clarifications within that task do not count again.
When do my free tasks reset?
The 25-task allowance renews each UTC calendar month. It is not a rolling 30-day window from signup. Provider usage limits are independent of this allowance.
I upgraded, but my plan has not changed.
Check that the account page and extension are using the email you purchased with. Refresh the account state. A completed payment redirect by itself does not grant access; the service also verifies the billing event. If the mismatch remains, prepare a billing message on the contact page.
Does removing the extension cancel billing?
No. Open the account website and choose Manage subscription when available. Complete cancellation in the billing portal and check its effective date. Read refunds and cancellation for details.
Why is my webhook address rejected?
Use a public HTTPS address on port 443. Localhost, private networks, embedded credentials, and redirects are unsupported. For n8n, use the published workflow’s production address.
Why did automatic delivery not send an old result?
Business automatic delivery applies to future completed task results after the connection is created. It does not replay every historical result. You can manually send an eligible completed result.
Should I retry an uncertain delivery?
Inspect the receiving workflow first. It may already have accepted the request. The stable delivery ID helps a receiver deduplicate retries, but the downstream workflow must implement that behavior.
