Data controls & deletion
Know how to clear local records, manage provider-held content, and prepare a request about your WebAct account.
Draft updated: September 21, 2026
Different records, different controls
WebAct’s website, local extension library, account service, AI-provider conversations, connected workflows, and billing records are separate. An action in one place does not automatically remove everything in the others.
Clear local inputs and history
The website’s tool examples do not hold your page data. Clear the contact composer’s fields if you entered a message. Delete downloaded files or clipboard contents separately if needed.
Use the extension’s library controls to remove saved conversations, tasks, or run history. Clearing extension data or uninstalling removes its local storage in that browser profile. These actions do not constitute a server-account deletion request.
Request account or service data deletion
Prepare a request through Contact & support. Identify the WebAct account and explain whether you want access, correction, or deletion. Do not include passwords, verification codes, or page content unrelated to the request.
The current account UI does not offer a self-service delete-account button. The public privacy contact and verified service-deletion procedure must be finalized by the operator before public release. This preview does not claim that pressing a button here deletes service data.
Identity verification may be needed to protect the account. Some billing, legal, dispute, or security records may need to be retained where applicable law requires or permits it. The final policy must define the relevant periods and backup handling.
Remove provider-held information
Use your AI provider’s own controls to delete its conversations or manage its data settings. Clearing WebAct’s local library does not delete a conversation in the provider’s account.
For results sent to n8n, Make, Zapier, or another webhook destination, manage the records in the receiving service. Removing a connection stops future eligible delivery and cancels queued work; it cannot recall an accepted request.
Handle your subscription separately
If you have a paid subscription, complete any intended cancellation through the billing portal and keep the confirmation. Do not assume that uninstalling or preparing a deletion request has canceled renewal.
See Refunds & cancellation and the privacy policy for the current policy status.
