Terms of use
The responsibilities, account rules, product limits, and commercial terms that apply to using WebAct.
Draft updated: September 21, 2026
Using WebAct
WebAct is the product name. The operator’s legal name, country, business address, and designated privacy contact have not yet been finalized in this preview. See Contact & support for the currently available preview contact route.
These proposed terms cover the WebAct website, extension, account service, and automation guides. The privacy policy explains the related data practices. Use the service only when you have authority to act on the pages and information involved.
Your account and access
Keep your account information accurate and protect your sign-in credentials. Do not share session tokens or use another person’s account without permission. WebAct may require email verification before access to authenticated features.
You remain responsible for your chosen AI-provider account and any receiving integration. Their own terms, age requirements, usage limits, and availability apply alongside WebAct’s.
Instructions, approvals, and results
Give instructions within the scope you are authorized to manage. Review the context, proposed actions, sensitive-action approvals, and result. AI-generated text can be inaccurate and a page action can fail or have effects that cannot be undone automatically.
Do not rely on an AI result as the only basis for a decision with material consequences. WebAct’s outcome checks describe what the available evidence supports; they do not guarantee correctness, completeness, or compatibility with every website.
Approved code execution can have broader effects than a predefined page action. Stop or withhold approval when its scope is unclear.
Acceptable use
Do not use WebAct for unlawful activity, unauthorized access, fraud, spam, harassment, credential theft, infringement, or interference with another service. Do not evade task accounting, security controls, or the limits imposed by WebAct or a provider.
Only share content and personal information you are permitted to process. Respect the access rules and terms of the websites you use, including restrictions on automation and data extraction.
Plans and payments
The Free plan includes browser chat and 25 monthly browser automation tasks. Pro is $7.99 USD per month; Business is $14.99 USD per month. Taxes may apply. Provider limits apply on every plan, and managed AI usage is metered separately from the subscription.
A browser automation counts at its first action. Its intermediate steps, retries, recovery, and necessary clarifications remain part of that task. Free allowances renew each UTC calendar month.
Paid subscriptions are recurring monthly subscriptions when enabled. Review the final price, tax, billing period, renewal information, and usage charges shown at checkout before paying. The account billing portal manages changes and cancellation. See refunds and cancellation.
Your content and connected services
You retain the rights you already hold in your inputs. Using the service permits the processing necessary to provide your requested feature, including sending chosen context to the AI connection or a configured destination.
Review output before publishing it or taking an action based on it. Output may resemble content generated for another user, may contain errors, and does not come with a guarantee of exclusive rights or freedom from third-party claims.
Removing a webhook destination does not retract information already delivered. The receiving service’s own rules apply to its processing and downstream actions.
Availability and changes
Browser restrictions, website updates, provider outages, model limits, and account configuration can affect features. Features described as preview or unavailable should not be treated as a live service commitment.
Service or account access may need to be restricted to address abuse, security incidents, unpaid charges, or legal requirements. Any finalized termination, notice, liability, and dispute provisions must be appropriate to the operator’s jurisdiction and preserve mandatory consumer protections.
Mandatory rights and contact
Nothing in these proposed terms is intended to remove rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. No governing-law, arbitration, or refund restriction is imported from a competitor’s policy.
The final contracting entity, applicable jurisdiction, support contact, and complete commercial terms are pending. Use Contact & support for the currently available contact route.
