How to export a job application tracker as a reliable snapshot
An application tracker helps a job seeker see where each opportunity stands and which follow-ups are due. Exporting the selected records makes that information easier to review or back up.
Start with the right material.
- What you provide
- a visible job shortlist plus applicant-provided application statuses.
- The intended result
- Export title, employer, link and only statuses supplied by the applicant.
How the workflow works.
Preserve employer, role, posting reference and the applicant's recorded status. Keep application, response and interview dates in distinct fields rather than collapsing them into one timeline value.
What to check in the result.
Check that statuses reflect real events. A saved posting is not a submitted application, and silence from an employer should not be converted into a rejection without evidence.
Import the CSV with a consistent delimiter and inspect text identifiers, dates and amounts before using spreadsheet totals. Keep the original file available while checking any automatic type conversion.
Learn from the worked example.
The downloadable CSV example uses these columns: Job title, Employer, Job URL, Applicant-supplied status. Compare a complete record with the source before sorting, combining or importing your own output.
The supplied example is illustrative. It is not a recorded run on your data.

- Open the source you want to work with and activate WebAct on that tab.
- Copy the task from the hero, add any required fields or preferences, and review the proposed actions.
- Compare the first result with your source. Ask for a specific correction or refinement where needed.
