A shipping email may contain an order number, a package tracking number and a support reference. Keep each in its own field. If an order has two packages, create separate shipment rows only when the message explicitly provides two tracking numbers.
Preserve leading zeros and letters by importing the identifier columns as text. An email’s delivery estimate is a statement from that email, not a current carrier status. WebAct should not infer a carrier from the shape of a tracking number.

This recipe works on the thread you open and select. It does not search every message or run a recurring inbox automation. Start with one conversation and confirm which messages were included.
What if the email only has a Track package button?
Copy the visible tracking link if it is available, but leave Tracking number blank when no number is stated. Do not treat an opaque link token as a confirmed tracking number. This task does not follow the carrier link.
Can it separate an order number from a tracking number?
Ask for separate columns and use the labels in the email as evidence. If an identifier has no clear label, flag it for review. Repeated references should not become extra shipments unless you request separate message rows.
Will it tell me where my parcel is now?
No. The CSV is a snapshot of the selected email. It does not retrieve live carrier data or replace Gmail’s package-tracking feature.
What should I check in the result?
Order and tracking identifiers retain leading zeros; the date remains the email’s estimate. Only shipping details present in the selected text are included. The task does not scan your mailbox, decode an opaque tracking link, open attachments, contact a carrier or update delivery status.
Can I use this on the Free plan?
Yes. Install the Chrome extension, verify your WebAct account and use an available ChatGPT browser connection in the same Chrome profile.
