Preserve the readable text and associated metadata without adding missing details. Keep multiline comments and punctuation inside their own CSV fields so the file imports cleanly.

Compare the row count with the selected sample and test the imported file. An export of readable reviews does not establish completeness, authenticity or the full distribution of customer opinions.
Import the CSV with a consistent delimiter and inspect text identifiers, dates and amounts before using spreadsheet totals. Keep the original file available while checking any automatic type conversion.
