How to prepare a support queue handoff for the next shift
A queue handoff helps the incoming team see what needs attention first and where each case stands. The report is most useful when every open item includes its next action and a source reference.
Start with the right material.
- What you provide
- a loaded queue with visible summaries and assignees.
- The intended result
- Create a shift handoff grouped by unresolved issue and stated next action.
How the workflow works.
Summarize the selected tickets with current status, relevant urgency evidence, ownership and pending responses. Identify commitments already made so the next shift can continue the conversation consistently.
What to check in the result.
Compare the handoff with the latest visible ticket updates. Make the selection and time of the snapshot clear, and flag cases with no owner or an unclear next step.
Preview the Markdown to check headings, lists and links as well as the words. Keep source references with the document so a reviewer can trace important statements back to the material you supplied.
Learn from the worked example.
The downloadable Markdown example shows one possible organization of the result. Read it alongside the source example and notice which statements are recorded facts, proposed wording or questions still needing an answer.
The supplied example is illustrative. It is not a recorded run on your data.

- Open the source you want to work with and activate WebAct on that tab.
- Copy the task from the hero, add any required fields or preferences, and review the proposed actions.
- Compare the first result with your source. Ask for a specific correction or refinement where needed.
