How to remove tracking parameters without breaking a URL
URL cleanup makes references easier to read and compare when removable tracking parameters are clearly identified. Some query parameters affect the actual page or resource, so the removal rule matters.

Specify which parameter names may be removed and preserve the path, functional query values and fragment. Keep the original URL so the transformation can be reviewed.
What to check in the result.
Test representative cleaned links and compare their destination behavior. Do not remove every query string by default, because it may contain a product identifier, search term or required access information.
Import the CSV with a consistent delimiter and inspect text identifiers, dates and amounts before using spreadsheet totals. Keep the original file available while checking any automatic type conversion.
