Should survey options include not applicable or do not know?
Include them when they are legitimate responses. Otherwise participants may choose an inaccurate option simply to continue.
Why is one question producing answers that cannot be interpreted?
Check for two concepts in the same sentence, overlapping options or an undefined time period. Split or clarify the question.
