How to export selected Teams chat messages with context
A chat export can support a handoff or a review when the selected messages need to be read outside Teams. The scope and message boundaries should remain clear.

Compare the output with the intended selection and check multiline messages. A record of selected messages should not be represented as a full account export or a complete conversation history.
Import the CSV with a consistent delimiter and inspect text identifiers, dates and amounts before using spreadsheet totals. Keep the original file available while checking any automatic type conversion.
