Can a business plan use estimated revenue?
Yes, when the assumptions and calculations are explicit. Keep estimates separate from contracted sales and explain the evidence behind conversion or volume assumptions.
Why does the plan show profit but little available cash?
Review payment timing, upfront costs and working capital separately. A revenue-and-expense estimate does not by itself describe cash timing.
