How to convert an article into questions and answers
An FAQ adaptation helps readers find particular answers within a longer article. It is useful when the source addresses several related problems that people might search for separately.
Start with the right material.
- What you provide
- one article that answers a defined set of questions.
- The intended result
- Create standalone Q&A pairs grounded in the article and cite supporting sections.
How the workflow works.
Turn supported topics into natural questions and write direct answers from the article. Keep the source's context and conditions, especially where a short answer could otherwise sound absolute.
What to check in the result.
Check every answer against the supplied material. If a useful question is not answered by the article, label it as needing more information rather than manufacturing a confident response.
Preview the Markdown to check headings, lists and links as well as the words. Keep source references with the document so a reviewer can trace important statements back to the material you supplied.
Learn from the worked example.
The downloadable Markdown example shows one possible organization of the result. Read it alongside the source example and notice which statements are recorded facts, proposed wording or questions still needing an answer.
The supplied example is illustrative. It is not a recorded run on your data.

- Open the source you want to work with and activate WebAct on that tab.
- Copy the task from the hero, add any required fields or preferences, and review the proposed actions.
- Compare the first result with your source. Ask for a specific correction or refinement where needed.
