Make the workflow fit your task.

Decisions and troubleshooting.
How do elapsed days differ from counting both calendar dates?
From April 1 to April 4 is three elapsed days; counting each named date gives four dates. Choose the convention that fits the task.
Why does a timestamp difference change around daylight saving time?
A local calendar day need not contain exactly 24 elapsed hours. Separate calendar-day counting from duration in seconds.
Try it with your own source.
