Should a speaker who appears twice be removed as a duplicate?
Keep both session appearances. Deduplicate only the optional person directory, where the relationship to each session remains available.
Why does the same speaker appear under slightly different names?
The program may use initials, titles or inconsistent spellings. Compare affiliations and source entries before merging identities.
