How to use the Career Development Plan Generator.
Development plans should connect a skill gap with practice and feedback. A list of courses is incomplete without an opportunity to apply the learning.
Make the workflow fit your task.
Choose a skill relevant to the person's goals and identify an opportunity to practice it. Pair learning resources with feedback and a follow-up task, defining how progress will be observed rather than only counting courses.

Example input
Employee wants to improve stakeholder presentations. Next monthly review provides a five-minute practice opportunity. Reviewer: team lead. Create a practice-and-feedback plan.
Completed example
Goal: explain one project recommendation clearly in a five-minute stakeholder presentation. Practice: prepare and deliver the next monthly-review segment. Feedback: ask the team lead about structure, evidence and clarity of the requested decision. Application: revise the segment using that feedback and deliver a follow-up version. Progress evidence: compare the two versions and the reviewer's observations; exact review dates remain to be agreed.

Decisions and troubleshooting.
Should a development plan consist mainly of training courses?
Include practical application and feedback. A completed course does not by itself show that the skill can be used in the role.
Why does the plan stall after the learning activity?
Assign a real practice opportunity and reviewer. Without a chance to apply the learning, the next step remains abstract.
Try it with your own source.
Replace the example with your material in the task prompt. Keep the requirements you need, then copy the task into WebAct.
