How to use the Billable Hours Calculator.
Billable hours should follow the client's rounding and break rules. Keep actual duration visible alongside billed duration so a rounding policy does not hide how the total was calculated.
Make the workflow fit your task.
Record start and end times, breaks, timezone if needed, and the agreed billing increment. Calculate actual duration first, then apply the billing rule separately and multiply by the rate. Flag missing times or overlaps before producing a charge.

Load this input into the prompt, then copy it to WebAct to try the task. Your result may differ from the illustration.
Decisions and troubleshooting.
Should every short task be rounded independently to the billing increment?
Follow the client agreement. Rounding each entry versus a daily total can produce different billed time.
Why does the billed amount exceed elapsed working time times the rate?
Rounding, minimum charges or excluded breaks may explain it. Show actual and billed durations separately.
Try it with your own source.
Replace the example with your material in the task prompt. Keep the requirements you need, then copy the task into WebAct.
